Analysis of Cantilever Triple-Layer Piezoelectric Harvester (CTLPH): Non-Resonance Applications

In this research, a design guideline for kinetic energy converter using cantilever triple-layer piezoelectric harvester (CTLPH) low-frequency applications is presented. By combining the constitutive and internal equations, analytical equations harvested voltage power were developed. It was also found that frequency of motion, applied tip force, coefficients, geometrical dimensions, mechanical properties layers play significant roles in performance harvester. Having characterised regulator module, LTC3588, dependency output on both storage capacitors LTC3588 investigated. An experimental measurement optical method carried out to determine force. Furthermore, CTLPH low frequencies (<3.3 Hz) various resistive loads excitation external resistance load are effective maximum generated power. The developed shows optimum 17.31 μW at 20 kΩ, which highly appropriate micropower devices with least 3.2 Hz vibration their environment.
